Our House I, II, & III LLC welcomes you.

We specialize in caring for the Developmentally Disabled, MMR, Emotionally Disturbed, Mentally ill and Alzheimers residents. Please call if you have any questions regarding the client groups.

Personal Assistance

Residents at Our House enjoy a full scale personal assistance program that includes everything. Our loyal hard-working staff provides help and assistance in every need you can possibly have. Staffmembers are highly trained and carefully selected to provide any assistance you or your loved one may need. Staff training is an ongoing problem in most facilities because of a high staff turnover...but not here, we have a good loyal staff. Our staff is trained in all the latest techniques and instructions as required by the State of Wisconsin, and we have additional training in several aspects of resident care that go above and beyond the required training. For example we participated in crisis training recently where staff received training in calming crisis situations. We also have Phyisical Therapy, Hospice and Respitory Specialists who provide services for the residents here.

Safe and secure

We provide a safe, healthy and secure living environment at Our House. Our facility has a fenced in area with a gate you must pass through before even getting to the door which is electronically monitored by Accu-Com and is alarmed every night for security purposes.

The health of the residents here of course is the reason why this facility is in operation, we go to great lengths to insure everyone is getting their proper medications and that they see their doctors regularly. The typical resident here see's their doctor once a month and is taken to their appointment by a staffmember here if needed to insure proper communication between facility and phyisician if the resident needs that.

Continual Training is the key to success

Activities

Our House is located on a two acre park like country setting that has much to offer. Residents can participate in a variety of outdoor activities such as gardening and watching their favorite plants or flowers grow throughout the season. We also go on trips and do activities with the residents like swimming in the summer and we try to get tickets to family night at Lambeau field in August.

Perhaps you like to sit back and listen to the sounds of nature in the spring time overlooking the scenic pond from one of the screened in areas outdoors. Public transportation is available through Marquette County for things like shopping trips Monday - Friday by appointment. Monday, Wednesday and Friday's we take who wants to go to the senior center for lunch and socialization.

When fall comes we focus more on indoor activities such as bingo night once a week with prizes and we celebrate all resident birthdays with a cake & ice cream . We have a summer cookout in August for resident family members. There is also a Christmass church group program in December that comes in and puts on a presentation. From time to time we have a musical group come and entertain the residents.

Our activities program includes 20 hours per week of training in Adult Daily Living Skills, recreational activities, and outside trips to the library, movies, shopping, bowling, live music in the Neshkoro park in the summer, etc.
